We are proud of our tradition and history as the original Klein High School. Since 1947, members of the Klein Bearkat football program have been leaders on the football field, in the classroom, and in our community. Each year, our talented staff of coaches commit their time and efforts to develop over 200 student-athletes into fine young men, on and off the field. The Klein High Football Booster Club is proud to sponsor our 5 football teams. We invite you to join us in supporting the Bearkats for the 2024-2025 season.
Klein football’s rich past sports a winning record that includes a state title bid, 44 playoff games, and 9 district championships. Notably, over 400 football scholarships have been awarded to our players, and 24 Klein players have gone on to the NFL. Klein currently leads the state of Texas with the greatest number of active players on NFL rosters. Additionally, Klein’s coaches have been recognized 3 times by the GHFCA Hall of Honor.
You’ve likely driven by Memorial Stadium on a Friday night and seen the lights and heard the roar of the crowd. You may not realize that this is only 1 of 5 Klein football teams, and the football program does not receive any funds collected through ticket sales or concessions at any of the games. As a result, we lean on the generosity of our faithful Klein community to provide for our student-athletes. Donations from the Booster Club and our sponsors help offset equipment expenses, team uniforms, helmets, pads, game filming expenses, personal/team development, clinics, Hudl fees, pre-game meals, and game-day hydration and nutrition.
We hope you’ll consider partnering with Klein Bearkat football this year. Your support will directly benefit our student-athletes and the program by providing meals, enhancing player safety, increasing team building, encouraging player volunteerism, and bolstering a Texas tradition that has been part of our community for over 75 years.
